Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Best Controller settings Season 3
Not only you, but many others have noticed that their aim in cod bot lobbies has been off. Making the correct adjustments could be the solution to your left-right slanting shots. Today's guide will cover how to optimize controller settings for improved accuracy, smoother gameplay, more wins, and better gaming.
mmoset Important of setting Adjustments
The majority of gamers do not realize how fine-tuning in-game settings affects precision and responsiveness. Even simple adjustments have a significant impact on responsiveness and target accuracy. The best settings will make your aim sticky and accurate. These tips will make a big difference in your gameplay.
Accuracy is the foundation of controller settings
Changes to controller settings can affect game performance. How to do it?
- Stick Sense (Horizontal & Verticle)
Set it to the level you feel comfortable with.
It is difficult to target effectively with a high-sensitivity character.
Aiming is easier with low sensitivity but character movements can be sluggish.
Personal Tip: We play at 1.9 horizontal sensitivity and vertical sensitivity. It's worked in almost all situations.
- Turn Off Controller Vibration
Why? The vibration can affect the thumb position and make it less accurate.
My aim has improved since Black Ops 2. The improved control is a little strange at the beginning, but you will see the difference once you adapt.
- Disable Trigger effects
You can have fun with the trigger effects, but it can create resistance and slow down your response speed in a gunfight. Turn them off.
- Dead Zones
This value should be as low possible without causing any stick drift. I personally would set it to 5.
You can now control your movement more effectively during tactical sprints by increasing the maximum left stick to 35.
For best performance I would recommend keeping this value at 6 but anything between 5-15 should work. Do not set this value to 0, as this will ruin your aim assist.
Right Stick Maximum - For the best range, leave this value set at 100.
Trigger Dead zones: Set your trigger dead zone to zero so your gun will fire every time you pull the lever.
Advanced Aiming Settings
Here are some advanced settings to give you a competitive edge.
- Multipliers of Sensitivity
This will make it easier to control tools and vehicles (Hellstorms) and reduce the multiplier of the sensitivity to 0.45.
ADS Sensitivity Multiplexer
Set the ADS to 0.90. This allows for more accurate movements and smoother targeting.
- Aim Response Curve Type
The Gradual option is recommended for a smoother transition from hipfire to ADS. It is not recommended to use "Instant", as this can alter your sensitivity too rapidly and cause you to lose your aim.
Response Curve Type
Linear with slope scale set to 1. Linear produces the most predictable results.
- Custom Zoom Sensitivity
To better manage close-range engagements, adjust this to 0.90 if you are using red dots or iron sights.
Loadout settings are more accurate
Choosing the right attachments to your weapon is also crucial.
Equip Precision Foregrip
This attachment provides more control during aiming by eliminating idle sway. A foregrip will prevent your weapon from swaying back and forward, making it harder to hit certain targets.
Adjust Your class Setup
Consider using a weapon with low recoil and high accuracy.
Equip attachments such as precision barrels or stocks that reduce sway and enhance stability.
Shooting your Shot - Precision and Strategy
Even though their effects might be negligible, they can make a huge difference to your gameplay.
Enable Center Dot
Center Dot can be found in the interface settings. Set the dot value to the biggest possible. You will see a dot in the middle. This can help you with your shot-lining and also for aiming.
Adjust the Crosshair Color
Select a crosshair color that contrasts with most of the environments on the map:
Yellow: This is the most noticeable color and will always catch your eye.
Fuchsia is a very low percentage color in many maps. This makes it easier to track.
Yellow is represented by the Hex Code #FFFF00.
Focusing on Customized Colors
Under Color Customization, select Filter 2 and customize it in the Settings menu. Filter 2 is a filter that enhances colors and makes enemies, goals, and other important entities in the game more visible.
